I know how hard it is to exercise when your whole body feels heavy, so I did not exercise for the first month of this eating plan. But, as the weight fell off, I started with Leslie Sansone’s ‘Walk At Home’ exercises. I found them attainable, strenuous but not too strenuous, and I could measure my fitness by how long I could last each day. Leslie incorporates upper and lower body workouts. She changes exercise frequently, so just when you think you can’t go on, she changes to something else. I wholly recommend these free videos.
Here is a starter for you. You probably won’t manage three miles on the first day!
In this one, she steps it up somewhat. The first time I upgraded to this one, I made 20 minutes!
After I was doing quite well with these, I decided I needed more FUN! I went looking for some 70s and 80s music to exercise to, and I found this.
This, I absolutely loved. It was like having a party every morning. It started to really pull my body in, and it was a great way to work up a sweat, before doing arm and leg exercises, as well as some sit-ups. I worked my way up to 80 bicep exercises, 80 tricep exercises, 300 leg lifts and 120 sit ups.
Here are a few more dance videos, depending on your choice of music.
